I hold a Masters in Musicology from Cornell University, and taught music history, theory, and appreciation at Cornell and Dartmouth College. An interest in computers led me to the IT field, where I’ve worked at IBM and other companies in a variety of technical, sales, and management positions. I’ve also pursued a serious sideline in the writing of poetry; my poems have won a couple of non-negligible awards, and have appeared widely in journals and anthologies. My audio-visual ebooks on music–Why Bach?: An Audio-Visual Appreciation, and Bach, Beethoven, Bartok: Confluence in Music–represent a convergence of my interests in music, technology, and writing. Additional information on me and my work is available at my website.
